1/2 cup Warm water
1 pk Yeast
2 cups Milk
1/2 cup Salad oil or melted butter
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Sugar
2 cups Flour
1 d Baking soda
2 ea Eggs
Instructions
Start this recipe the night before you want to eat the waffles. Make sure that the water and milk are 100-125 degrees. Put water and yeast in a large mixing bowl; let stand 5 minutes. Add milk, salad oil, salt and sugar. Beat in the flour. Cover the bowl and leave out (not in the refrigerator) so that it can raise at least 8 hours. When time to cook the waffles, add eggs and pinch of baking soda. Beat well. Batter will be quite thin; add some flour if necessary. Cook on a waffle iron.
