Ingredients

1/2 pound butter
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon Karo syrup light
3 each Hershey bars, regular size


 

Instructions
Place all but Hershey Chocolate in a heavy pan and cook on high until it turns golden brown and is thready in cold water. It will be dry between your teeth pour into a shallow greased dish. I usually use a square 8 inch or smaller. While it is till hot sprinkle chunks of Hershey chocolate over mixture, when it is melts spread it around to cover mixture. When it is cooled take a sharp knife and break up the toffee and serve. Optional is to finely chop some nuts and spread across chocolate if desired.
