2 1/2 pounds chuck roast boneless
1/4 cup Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Brown sugar
1 tablespoon Ground ginger
1 ea garlic clove mi
2 tablespoons Cold water
4 tablespoons Cornstarch
Instructions
Trim excess fat from steak; cut into thin, bite-sized pieces. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger and garlic in small slow cooker and stir in meat. Cover, and cook over low heat for 8 hours or high heat for 3 hours. Remove meat and set aside. Pour juices into measuring cup and remove fat. Measure 1-1/2 cup juice, put into saucepan. Combine cold water with cornstarch and add to the saucepan. Cook until thick and bubbly. Return the cooked meat and heat; serve on 8 individual French loaves.
