2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg ground
1/4 teaspoon white pepper ground
1 tablespoon butter softened
1 pound sweet potato
1 cup cream
1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
Instructions
Peel and slice the sweet potatoes. Be careful if you use the mandolin! Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a small bowl, combine the seasonings. Rub a shallow baking dish with butter. Make one layer of sweet potatoes in the dish, sprinkle with salt mixture and top with a few tablespoons of cream. Repeat until you run out of potatoes - about 6 to 8 layers. Pour remaining cream over top and sprinkle with cheese
Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 15 to 25 more minutes until the top is golden and the potatoes are tender
