1/4 cup Brown sugar packed
1 tablespoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon Onion powder
3 1/2 pounds Baby back pork ribs
1 1/2 cups Barbecue sauce
Instructions
MIX brown sugar, paprika, seasoned salt, pepper and onion powder; rub mixture into ribs. Cut ribs into 4-rib sections. Place ribs in slow cooker. Pour 1/2 cup barbecue sauce over ribs. Place lid on slow cooker.
COOK on LOW for 5 to 6 hours OR on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours. Remove ribs using tongs or large spatula. Using ladle or large plastic spoon, remove and discard juices. Place ribs back into slow cooker liner; pour remaining barbecue sauce over ribs. Cook additional hour or until sauce is heated.
CAREFULLY remove lid to allow steam to escape. Serve ribs directly from slow cooker.
For different flavor, add 8 oz. can of crushed pineapple, undrained, to the last addition of BBQ sauce befor pouring over the ribs.
