Roasted Garlic

Ingredients

4 ea Garlic bulbs
2 tablespoons Olive oil
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Fresh cracked pepper
1/4 cup Water + 1 chic. bullion cube


 

Instructions
Prepare garlic by removing some of the silk outer leaves fromt he
heads and cut off 1/4" tips off the heads to expose the clove. Place
heads in a garlic baker. Drizzle each head with 1/2 T of oil and
sprinkle with salt.
Pour the stock/wine around the garlic. Cover and bake in 350* oven
for 30-45 minutes. Remove cover, baste with more oil and bake
uncovered for 30-45 more minutes until garlic is tender and husks are
golden brown. Sprinkle with fresh ground black pepper. Serve by
squeezing the warm cloves out of their skins or with a small pointy
knife, whicp the gloves from the skins and spread into crackers or
French bread. Garnish, if desired, with sprigs of chives, cilantro
or parsley and slices of goat cheese.
