Ingredients

1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 1/2 cups apricots, dried chopped
1 1/2 cups Raisins
1 cup coconut shredded
1 cup almonds, blanched chopped
1/2 cup dry milk
1/2 cup wheat germ
2 teaspoons margarine
1 cup Corn syrup
3/4 cup Sugar
1 1/4 cups peanut butter, chunky
1 teaspoon orange extract
2 tablespoons orange peel grated
2 cups Chocolate chips
4 ounces Paraffin

Instructions
Spread oats in baking pan; bake in 300 degree oven until toasted,
about 25 minutes. Stir frequently. Put sesame seed in 10" frying
pan over medium heat; shake or stir until seeds are golden, about 7
minutes. Pour into a large bowl. Add apricots, raisins, coconut,
almonds, dry milk and wheat germ; mix well. Add hot oats. Butter
the hot baking pan, set aside.

In frying pan, combine corn syrup and sugar; bring to a rolling boil
over medium high heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and
quickly stir in peanut butter, orange extract and orange peel. At
once, pour over the oatmeal mixture and mix well. Quickly spread in a
buttered pan and press into an even layer. Cover and chill until
firm, at least 4 hours.

Cut into bars about 1-1/4 by 2-1/2 inches. Combine chocolate chips &
paraffin in the top of a double boiler. Place over simmering water
until melted; stir often. Turn heat down.

Using tongs, dip 1 bar at a time into chocolate, hold over pan until
it stops dripping, then place on wire racks set over waxed paper..
When firm and cool, wrap individually in foil. Store in freezer.
