2 Cups Basil, Fresh
2 Cloves Garlic, Large (i Used 6 or More)
1/2 Cup Pine Nut
3/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese, Grated Fresh
3/4 Cup Olive Oil
Pepper as Needed
Instructions
Pound or process in food processor the basil. Separately pound the garlic and pine nuts together. Add the basil leaves. Add Parmesan cheese. Gradually add olive oil until the mixture is creamy and thick, like peanut butter. Put a film of olive oil over the top, if storing in a jar. Cover and refrigerate or freeze.
