Double Chocolate Mint Bars

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups Flour, all purpose
1 cup Sugar
1/3 cup Sugar, brown, packed
1/2 cup Cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 1/4 cups Margarine (2-1/2 sticks)
3 ea Eggs
1/2 teaspoon Mint extract
2 cups Chocolate chips
1 ea Sweetened milk can


 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13x9x2 baking pan. Stir together flour,
sugars, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Cut in 3/4 cup butter until
mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Beat in eggs and 1/4 teaspoon mint
extract; spread into pan. Bake 23 to 25 minutes or until toothpick
comes out clean. In saucepan over low heat, melt 1/2 cup butter with
chocolate chips. Stir in sweetened condensed milk and remaining 1/4
teaspoon mint extract. Pour over baked layer. Let stand until set.
Garnish and refrigerate. Cut into bars.
