3/4 cup Water
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Vinegar
1 teaspoon Beef bullion granules
1/2 teaspoon Dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon Chili powder
1/4 teaspoon Ground red pepper
2 ea Garlic cloves, minced
2 1/2 pounds Beef brisket
1/2 cup Ketchup
2 tablespoons Brown sugar
2 tablespoons Margarine
Instructions
Combine water, Worcestershire, bullion granules, mustard, chili powder, vinegar, red pepper, garlic. Trim fat from beef brisket, place in slow cooker. Reserve 1/2 cup of this cooking liquid, and cover with cooking liquid and cook low for 8-10 hours, or high for 5-7 hours.
After cooking, combine 1/2 cup reserved liquid, ketchup and brown sugar. Heat in a small pan, and pour over brisket.
