Carol Knop's Popcorn Bars

Ingredients

10 cups Popped popcorn
10 ounces Marshmallows
1 cup Chocolate chips
1/3 cup Margarine
1 cup Peanuts, salted optional


 

Instructions
Lightly grease 9x13" pan. Combine popcorn and nuts. Nuke
marshmallows & margarine for 2-1/2 to 3 minutes, stirring after each
minute; stir until smooth. Add chocolate chips (or butterscotch or
peanut butter chips). Nuke for 45 seconds or until chips begin to
melt. Stir again. Pour over popcorn and stir until well coated.
With buttered hands, press firmly in pan. Refrigerate overnight.
