4 pounds Pork Spareribs
1 1/4 cups Blackberries Rinsed
1/4 cup catsup
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup ginger minced
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon hot sauce
Instructions
Rinse ribs and pat dry. Trim and discard excess fat. Barbecue on indirect heat until well browned then baste one side with half the sauce.. Turn the ribs sauce side down and cook until the sauce browns and forms a sticky glaze. Baste top of ribs and turn over, and cook again, about 10 minutes on each side
Blackberry sauce: combine ingredients in a food processor. Then put into a glass measuring cup and microwave for about 8 minutes until the berry mixture is reduced to 1-1/3 cups.
