1 cup dried beans
1 onion chopped
2 bacon strips chopped
440 grams tomatoes, canned chopped
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon mustard mixed
1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Cook beans. (Haricot, Lima or other). Saute onion and bacon (or bacon flavoured chips) until onion is tender. Add all other ingredients. Stir until boiling and simmer 20 minutes or place in casserole and bake 45 minutes. Serve with rice, bread or vegetables, or whatever you think of.
